The Starting Line - Best of Me
Take a trip down memory lane with us, back to the year 1999, where a band was forming over AOL. This band would go on to redefine pop-punk forever, and shape the narrative of what the genre could be and who it was for - everyone.
This band would become the quintessence of the early 2000s, with a talent for saying what needs to be said and giving their listeners a place to be fully themselves. And now, this band is more relevant than ever, and everything we need right now.
That band is The Starting Line.
We’ve been fans of these icons since the Say It Like You Mean It days, and we’re positive that it’s still impossible to get enough of The Starting Line. And right now - with their new album on its way - we get the joy of announcing The Wild Honey Pie Pizza Party, featuring a super special solo set from Ken.
And this is not just any Pizza Party. This one is extra special, because we will be celebrating the release of Eternal Youth, out on September 26. Ken will be playing the hits from their entire discography - including some of our next favorite songs.
Meet us in Woodstock, NY, on September 25 at Tinker Street Tavern for The Wild Honey Pie Pizza Party featuring The Starting Line. There will be Paulie Gee’s pizza with GF and vegan options, delicious ice cream inspired by Vacation® Inc. and created by Cherries Ice Cream for dessert, endless Spindrift® SODA, classy Maker’s Mark cocktails and Voodoo Ranger beer, Vacation® Inc. sunscreen and Vessel Life Science plant goodies, and so much more. It’ll be a night to remember forever. Presented by Spindrift®.
Come early on September 25 for a meet-and-greet with the animals of Woodstock Farm Sanctuary hosted by Vacation® Inc. at 4pm. They will melt your emo heart! This is also the perfect opportunity to explore Woodstock before the doors open for the show at 7pm. All ticket sales will be donated to Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, and this is a great chance to learn all about the amazing work they're doing. You can also learn more here about what they do.
And stay late for a special emo set by our friend, DJ Harlan, who will be taking over Tinker Street Tavern from 10pm-12am after the show!
Tickets are now sold out but:
Book a room at The Herwood Inn in Woodstock for two free tickets. Or, enter our giveaway for the chance to win two free tickets, a year’s supply of Spindrift® SODA, and a signed record. You can also bid in our auction to win everything above, plus a 15 minute hang with Ken before the party, and a signed guitar!
We get to throw these parties thanks to some incredible brands that care. We are so grateful to Spindrift®, Voodoo Ranger, Vacation® Inc., Vessel, Maker’s Mark, and Consequence, our exclusive media partner, for making these dreams come true.

Adam Melchor - Garment Bag
When we first met Adam Melchor back in 2016, he was performing at one of our Beehive parties and in a Buzzsession with a band called Frances Cone in Brooklyn. Adam moved to LA where he’s been releasing critically acclaimed jam after jam and now we have the absolute pleasure of collaborating with him again on a Dinner Party concert with Topo Chico at Baar Baar in Downtown LA. We have space for only 45 people at this one, which includes a five-course tasting menu, drinks from Topo Chico and Mezcal Rosaluna and a live solo performance from Adam. Tickets sold out in under 24 hours, but you can join the waitlist here. Artwork by Enne Goldstein.

Flock of Dimes - Price of Blue
We’re returning to our nation’s capital for a Dinner Party with the band Flock of Dimes and chef pop-up Magpie and the Tiger. Join The Wild Honey Pie and Topo Chico for this super intimate experience at the Please Bring Chips space on H Street for a five-course Korean tasting menu with drink pairings by NYC’s Misguided Spirits and a live performance from Flock of Dimes. You might recognize lead singer Jenn Wasner, who has been releasing music as Wye Oak since 2008. Jenn’s music has been in rotation here at The Wild Honey Pie since our days as a music blog, so it’s an absolute dream to collaborate with them. Hope to see you at the Dinner Party!

Fruit Bats - Humbug Mountain Song
This is a moment decades in the making! Fruit Bats have been one of my favorite bands since Mouthfuls came out in 2003, and I started adding “When U Love Somebody” to every single one of my mixtapes. I’m so excited to be sharing today that they’ll be performing a special solo set for an intimate audience of just 100 people on July 30 at Hotel Lilien in the Catskills, complete with one-of-a-kind Grillo’s Pickles pizza menu from Paulie Gee. Tickets are sold out but you can join our waitlist here.
We highly suggest booking a room at Hotel Lilien and hanging out with us by the Solo Stove fire pits late night with the band. The Pizza Party music series is a monthly showcase in upstate NY produced by The Wild Honey Pie and Radio Woodstock, with support from Olipop, New Belgium, Mezcal Rosaluna, and Brooklyn Magazine.

Salt Cathedral - How Beautiful (She Is)
Well, if it weren’t already obvious enough, it’s pretty friggin’ clear now that we love Salt Cathedral. They played three Dinner Parties since 2017 and Welcome Campers in 2018, and now we’re thrilled to announce their Pizza Party upstate in the Catskills, featuring pizza from Paulie Gee, in collaboration with Radio Woodstock, Brooklyn Magazine, and Solo Stove. For the first time in June, we’re leveling up the Pizza Party. Show up early for the show for our first Pool Party, and if you book a room at Glen Falls House, you’re invited to The Slumber Party featuring a late-night DJ set from Saint Hippo, midnight munchies from Moonburger, and complimentary cannabis from Weekenders.

Al Olender - Keith
Buzzsessions are officially back! We welcomed Al Olender and Amanda Brooklyn to our new home near Woodstock for a meal cooked up by Matt Olley of Little Viking Co. and session directed by Zach Durocher. Watch the full Buzzsession here.
It’s been about three years since we filmed a new episode of our live performance music video series so we wanted to try something a little different. In this episode, we combined our passion for music and food and shared a special vegan meal before recording three tracks with Al Olender, available now on YouTube and all audio streaming platforms. We love her music so much and know you’ll feel the same. Special thanks to Mumgry nut butters and Otherworld pancake and waffle mix for filling up our bellies. It’s good to be back!

Salt Cathedral - No Ordinary Man
We're back in New York. Join The Wild Honey Pie and our friends at Brooklyn Magazine on Tuesday, April 25, for a special Dinner Party with Salt Cathedral and Topo Chico at Top Quality LIC. Enjoy a tasting menu, endless Topo Chico, paired cocktails featuring Mezcal Rosaluna, and an intimate performance.
Salt Cathedral has been one of The Wild Honey Pie's faves for years. Based in NYC and fronted by Juliana Ronderos and Nicolas Losada, who have used their Colombian backgrounds to influence Salt Cathedral's sound. The result? Latin Pop with an unmistakable groove. Their combination of acoustic instrumentation with synth has cultivated a multilayered and electric sound that screams Salt Cathedral, and always leaves you wanting more.
The Wild Honey Pie Dinner Parties launched in 2017 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and have since expanded to cities across the country. These events are a delicious taste of the best in emerging music and the culinary arts. Buy your tickets here now.
