About

It really isn’t every day that you get to work with a Mercury Prize winning band.  And it certainly isn’t every day that you get to spend time at the iconic Electric Lady Studio in Manhattan.  This September, a day after their very first (but not last) sold out show at Bowery Ballroom, alt-J joined us at Electric Lady Studios where they performed two tracks, “Tessellate” and “Fitzpleasure”, off their debut album, ∆n ∆wesome W∆ve.  Watch both videos below.

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie.  With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs.
