Marian Hill exude the sort of quiet intensity that blends perfectly with a cold, deserted mountain at night. Amid icy slopes and eerie darkness, their perfectly-sparse arrangements added an element of mystery and intrigue to the occasion, while soaring sax solos and expertly dropped beats kept the crowd dancing. On The Mountain is a video series filmed at Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont made possible by Otter Creek Brewery and Verb Products. Our third season offered up killer live music, intimate performances and, of course, skiing for our adventurous group of guests. With a full stage and multiple sets each night, it was a party from start to finish, featuring of Montreal, Marian Hill, Dan Croll and The Bad Marriage — a supergroup with members of PHOX and Wild Child.
