Rainer was born and raised in New York City's Lower East Side and currently studies photography at Bard College in upstate New York. Some of his proudest accomplishments include bringing Memphis rapper Tommy Wright III to campus, organizing a Club Penguin concert with Dorian Electra and Earl Sweatshirt retweeting one of his videos. He continues to organize shows at the campus venue SMOG, film artist performances at college radio station WXBC and photograph his neighborhood.
