Turned on my computer this morning to find this waiting for me…

This is a video of one of my recent solo shows, I was debuting some new material at the Slaughtered Lamb, London, UK. I don’t play solo very often any more but when I do, it’s actually excitingly e.x.p.o.s.i.n.g, much of the set is improvised and thus you can end up in places you never expected to be!

So that was my start to the morning.

Since then I’ve had two glasses of water, breakfast, one cup of coffee, two custard cream biscuits and one bananna. It’s now nearly 3 o’clock in the afternoon and I should probably have lunch.

In case you’re wondering eating is not all I have done with my morning. Oh no. I’m currently putting an album together so my days mainly revolve around writing and recording. Here’s a little clip of something I made earlier…

Amongst other news, I’ve been spending a lot of time prepping for shooting my first video of which I’m doing all my own costume/styling so here’s what to expect…

Lock your doors darlings. Man, I’m not one for tooting but I’m just going to blow my own bloody trumpet here, PARP! PARP!

Yeah, so I’m pretty excited about that.

Righto, I’ll spend the rest of my afternoon on this session and then tonight I am meeting my old housemate for some dins, she works in finance. Two totally different worlds, she finds mine unbelievable and I find hers baffling. It makes for HOT conversation.

Then LATER, later I’m seeing my friend and record producer Nigel Godrich, we’re currently embroiled in a recorded project with a couple of other friends, yet rarely get the chance to meet/drink and talk about what we’re doing with it. Hopefully in the coming months we’ll make some headway with the material and unleash something on you all! (Hail? Locusts? Farts? Guesses in a box please)
