The music from YesYou (@yesyoumusic), a production duo comprised of Jono Kirkham and Gav Parry, seems to be hitting hard, just in time for the hot and sweaty Australian summer crowds. They pride themselves on creating synth-soaked dream pop, which is exactly what we have here with the wistful, party-worthy track “Half of it”. Having produced for other well-known groups such as Jinja Safari and DZ Deathrays, these guys know how to create a catchy dance number that stays with the audience long after the first listen — so much so that they just have to listen again, and again, and again.
