WINTER PEOPLE SHARE BRIGHT NEW SINGLE [PREMIERE]

Sydney’s Winter People (@winter_people) have been making some serious noise in the states with the release of their Gallon EP. The upbeat six-piece’s music is anything but minimal — their debut album, A Year at Sea, released in Australia on September 21st, is chalk-full of rich, folk-rock anthems like the single, “Wishingbone”. While Winter People’s melodies are wonderfully catchy, their arrangements are what allow these Aussie’s to truly shine. Innumerable instruments are used in “Wishingbone”, adding to its bright, full sound. Expect to hear news of a US album release soon, and with a handful of CMJ shows lined up, it’ll be easy to see Winter People translate their music into an energetic live show. Snag a download of the single, “Wishingbone”, above.
