Congratulations to contest winners Bruce Russo and Lorena Gordon!

I guess we have a thing for doing contests with Australian bands?  First it was The Jezabels, and now, Brisbane-based duo An Horse.  Kate Cooper and Damon Cox will be in New York next Tuesday, April 26 at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, and we have two pairs of tickets to give to you!

All you need to do is ‘like’ us on Facebook and post a comment below telling us what you love about the band.  Doesn’t need to be elaborate.  Just a sentence or two about your favorite song by the band, or what their music means to you.

Their Knitting Factory show is a pretty big deal for them as they’re celebrating the release of their second full-length LP, Walls.  Right after their trip to NYC, the band will be heading to Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, then returning to the tri-state area for a Connecticut show and appearance at Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey.  SPIN recently named them one of their 10 bands to watch at the festival, which will also feature sets by Chiddy Bang, Sam Adams, Boyz II Men, Taking Back Sunday, Alkaline Trio, Das Racist, Lil Wayne, and more.
