Brooklyn-based trio and long-time The Wild Honey Pie favorites, Wilsen, delighted us with their melancholy sound for a truly haunting Buzzsession. The low, hushed tones of singer Tamsin Wilson’s delicate vocals sit perfectly atop the bright strum of D’Angelico Guitars who were gracious enough to throw their support behind this session. Shot in the ambient shadows of The Creamery Studio in Greenpoint, we are so pleased to present you with a completely homegrown Buzzsession.

At once mellowing and unsettling, Wilsen’s special brand of indie-folk demands listeners’ focus right away. Hypnotic vocals drew us deep into the band’s psyche, and a melody grounded with deep drum sounds but lifted with twinkling guitars swept us away. Enjoy the rapture we felt with these two one of a kind performances.
