Stuy Town, a secluded New York City neighborhood sandwiched between Alphabet City and Kips Bay, is one of our absolute favorite places to film. It’s intimate, quiet and has loads of trees. For our session with LA band Infantree, we wandered into the apartment complex like we usually do, but were greeted by two unexpected guests. A cute black squirrel and a security guard. Even though the squirrel had absolutely no problem with us shooting in his home, the security guard gave us some trouble.

We might be filming in the same location far too much as the security guards know my face and give me a look every time I walk through, even sans equipment. To avoid any issues, we walked about 50 yards from our original location and filmed one song before any more guards could kick us out. By the end of the session we had multiple bystanders asking for albums, show info and more. Looks like Infantree made quite the impression on the residents of Stuy Town.
