Vagabon’s Lætitia Tamko has a voice quite unlike most others. The Cameroon-born indie newcomer’s deep haunting vocals flourish on “Fear & Force,” a beautiful indication of what’s to come on her soon-to-be released debut album Infinite Worlds. “Fear & Force,” her first single off the record, is actually a reworking of a song called “Vermont II” from Vagabon’s 2014 Persian Gardens EP. In the new version, Tamko sets a passionately somber tone while bringing her incredible voice to the forefront, replacing the subtlety of her previous work with a cohesive assuredness – the new Vagabon holds nothing back. Infinite Worlds is out February 24 on Father/Daughter.
