For the first time since filming Freelance Whales in February 2010, we took to the New York City subway system for one of our Buzzsessions. Norway’s Tôg met us off the 1st Ave L train, where they quickly set up their equipment and began to play three songs, all sung entirely in Norweigan. I may not understand a single word, but it’s easy to comprehend the emotions they convey. It gets a little loud at times, but hey, that’s the subway for you. Check out all three songs below, and snag the free download of our versions. Enjoy!

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
