If you’ve been in a New York City cab anytime recently, you may be familiar with their stoop talk, or Talk Stoop.  They take famous people, sit them on a stoop, and ask ridiculous questions. It’s usually edited into a 30 second jumble-fuck of useless information.  They’ve had Hot Hot Heat, Pete Wentz, and more, and usually post about 10 seconds of music which results in a lot of frustration for anyone who wants to know what the particular band sounds like (because we don’t know what Fall Out Boy sounds like, obviously).

I digress.  When I met The So So Glos last week to film our session, it was our original intention to shoot on a football field close-by their Brooklyn apartment.  A soccer game made this impossible, so we took a seat on a stoop just outside of the school’s fences.  What we have is our own little version of Talk Stoop; a version that’s actually entertaining.

As our first session after CMJ, this was quite the way to get over my post-festival blues.  These guys are really awesome live, and seeing them in this setting was just as amazing.  Their new EP, Low Back Chain Shift, is one of my favorites of the year.  Check it out here.
