The Head and the Heart played two packed shows at Terminal 5, promoting their prominently displayed Signs of Light album. Traveling all the way from England, Declan McKenna kicked off the night with a breezy, yet grounded 45 minute set, covering his recently-released singles and EPs. The 17 year old singer wasn’t familiar to most of the crowd, but seemed to win over the majority by the end of his set.
The Head and the Heart began their performance with the first two tracks from their new album. The crowd was surprisingly familiar with their new material, happily singling along to “All We Ever Knew.” Dazzling with older songs from their first and second albums and surprising fans with newer tracks, the night spanned a well-balanced setlist that certainly captured their versatile live presence.
