With one more weekend to go until Labor Day, the summer is definitely winding down.  Not to fear, though, because the end of the various summer concert series doesn’t come until the official end of summer.  This week, The Drums are playing Brooklyn Bowl with Chairlift, recent Columbia signees The Neighbourhood are playing [READ ON]

BIRDDOG PUBLICASSEMBLY TINY VICTORIES, THE DRUMS, THE LUMINEERS

We’re back in action this week with a show of our very own.  Together with BirdDog Promo, we’ve put 8 bands we’re crazy about on one bill for a night of wildness at Public Assembly.  Headliner Tiny Victories will be celebrating the release of their EP, Those Of Us Still Alive, and will be supported by NewVillager, Dinowalrus, and North Highlands (among others).  Of course, that’s not the only great show going on this week here in New York City.  Make [READ ON]

Happy Halloween to you and you and you. I’m sitting here dressed as Ash Ketchum from Pokémon hoping that the snow storm we had on Saturday night (seriously?) wasn’t the beginning of winter for us here in New York City. It’s currently supposed to be chilly but nice, which is, in my opinion, the best weather for venturing out and seeing some live music.

From Feist and Battles, to The Drums and Pixies, we have some extraordinary artists visiting our city this week. See below for our suggested shows of the week! [READ ON]

Perhaps because their first album has long been classified as “surf pop”, due in part to the reviews [READ ON]
