Say hello to Shout Out Louds. This may not be your first time coming across them, as the Swedish indie rock quintet has been around since 2001, but they’ve been making some changes. The band just released Optica, their fourth full-length album, on February 26. JANUARY IS MOTION

GRAPHIC BY TERRA SCHNEIDER
Happy New Year, folks! For January’s mixtape theme, I chose motion. Out of Sweden, this is an artist that is highly influenced by Middle Eastern music. There is a very logical reason for this, however. Her most recent album, East of Eden, was recorded in Pakistan, allowing her to experience the harsh realities of life in the Middle East first hand. [READ ON]
