Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival (@pitchforkfest) recently announced that a slew of new bands have been added to their 2012 lineup. The first round of announcements from Pitchfork included big hitters Vampire Weekend, Feist, Cloud Nothings, Grimes, Hot Chip and Willis Earl Beal to name a few. In its seventh year, the fest will take place in Chicago’s easily navigated Union Park July 13-15. The now sold out three-day passes went for $110, and single-day passes are still available at $45 a pop, making it one of the most affordable festivals this summer.
