Moogfest 2010 is being covered by Zach Collins:

The Wild Honey Pie will soon be heading to MoogFest 2010, a celebration of the life and legacy of Bob Moog. An electronic music pioneer and inventor of the Moog synthesizer, Moog made Asheville (the location of the festival) his home for the latter part of his life. He also invented several other groundbreaking electronic instruments including the the Minimoog Voyager, the Little Phatty, the Etherwave Theremin, Moogerfoogers, and the newest addition to the Moog lineup, the Moog Guitar.
In addition to being moved from New York City to Asheville this year, the festival will also be expanded to a 3-day event (Oct 29-31). Though the acts will play at different locations throughout the city, the main stages will be the Asheville Civic Center and the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium.
The artists showcased at the festival are not only chosen because they perform on Moog instruments, but also because they capture the creative vibe in their music that Bob Moog created throughout his life. The lineup features many groundbreaking electronic artists as well as several DJs and mashup artists. This years headliners include Devo, MGMT, Thievery Corporation, Massive Attack, Shpongle, and Pretty Lights. As for me I am most excited to see MGMT, Girl Talk, Neon Indian, Mountain Man, Sleigh Bells, and Big Boi. This year should prove to be one heck of an event!
