With its eclectic line-up, ranging from comedy to death metal to euro-electro-pop, Fun Fun Fun Fest has something for everyone. This was my third year attending the festival, and the move from Waterloo Park to Auditorium Shores was fantastic despite the crazy dust. There were four different stages; yellow (comedy), blue (electronic/hip-hop), black (metal/punk/garage rock) and orange (pop/rock) and [READ ON]

The Great Pan Is Dead – Cold Cave

Cold Cave (@coldcave23) killed it earlier this month at a sold-out, Tuesday night show at the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg.  Thanks to the band’s incredible energy, the audience was completely engrossed in the performance, following along to their vivid drumbeats and singer Wesley Eisold’s spot on delivery. For New Yorkers, there is great news: Cold Cave is back on August 6th at Bowery Ballroom, rounding out [READ ON]

COLD CAVE AT MERCURY LOUNGE

1201 days ago by Eric Weiner

When I was working at MTV, I was given an album by Cold Cave. I wasn’t overly impressed, but I thought it would grow on me. Unfortunately, it got lost in the shuffle, and I couldn’t really give it an adequate listen. Fast forward three months to a couple weeks ago when I saw that they would be performing in New York City at Mercury Lounge. I’d never been, and had heard good things, so I figured why not?
