The time has arrived once again folks — Sasquatch 2013 is just around the corner with a line-up that definitely won’t disappoint! Located in scenic, central Washington along the Columbia River, this outdoor festival has long been an indie rock mecca for many. The venue itself features several stages, all of which are set along a majestic panorama of rolling hills and cliffs, providing the perfect backdrop for shows at the main Sasquatch Stage. Founded in 2002 by Pacific Northwest-based concert promoter, Adam Zacks, the festival began humbly as a one day event featuring only a handful of bands and music acts. In recent years, Sasquatch [READ ON]

Caveman In The City 600x600 CAVEMANS SELF TITLED LP

As the days get longer and the frost-bitten climates of a prolonged winter slowly start to thaw, what the world needs is a healthy dose of something a little sunnier to complement the changing of the times. Cue Caveman and their self-titled sophomore LP. It might not quite crackle and blister with scorching heat, but this hazy slice of audible sunshine definitely washes over the listener with [READ ON]

This week, like usual, is jam packed with incredible releases. NYC’s post-rockers, Caveman, are dropping a dreamy, expansive sophomore album that you’re really going to dig, while LA indie rock darlings, Rilo Kiley, are releasing a collection of rare demos and unreleased tracks that’s likely to provide fans with sheer joy and a little closure after their breakup a few years back. Tyler the Creator is back to present us with a hip-hop record built on undeniably solid skill and wonky personality. It’s a little less [READ ON]

caveman CAVEMAN RELEASES TASTY NEW TRACK [STREAM]

Brooklyn’s Caveman just released a new single from their upcoming album due out April 2. “In the City” is a synth-rock gem sounding a bit more mature than 2011’s CoCo Beware. It’s a tasty tease of a track and leaves us wanting more. The good news is that Caveman is headed out on an extensive U.S. tour in [READ ON]

The streets of Williamsburg belonged to musicians, even more than normal, for the four days that the Northside Festival staked its ground. There was a constant bustle of badge-clad press agents, photographers, managers and agents in addition to guitarists toting their instruments and lead singers trailed by groupies. Booze was certainly also flowing freely. At Good Co. on Hope Street, Jameson hosted a party featuring [READ ON]
