Cate Le Bon (@catelebon) opened last Thursday with a chill, solo set at Webster Hall. Without a full band to rely on, she carried herself well with a beautiful voice and overdriven guitar. There’s something very pleasant in the calm of a subtle opener — she was just enough to set the tone and prepare the audience for the amazingness that was St. Vincent (@st_vincent). [READ ON]
