Yeeeeeeoooooowwwww! Fun month for the Hot Dude Party. Off the top, a huge congratulations to our frontman, Stefan, on a smexy diploma from CU Boulder. Honey, we are all so so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you’ll do next…

…specifically, I can’t wait to play our next show. We’re back at Herman’s Hideaway in Denver on May 26th, and I think that I speak for all of us when I say that we are FIRED UP about some new material, new gear, and new ideas. We recently took a band field trip to The Bluebird Theater in Denver to catch our friends, The Foot., and learned a lot watching those guys crush it, fresh from their tour. What have you.

Our last show at Shooters, in Boulder, was a blast. Gosh. It could have been the amazing crowd that got me super pumped up. But also, it could have been the fact that Poore made us all do pushups before we went out there. Probably, it was the crowd though. Holy shit. Playing covers of Miley and Ke$ha to a bar full of partying NCAA athletes is a good way to get sweaty on a Saturday night. Big thanks to CU Buff Ball for having us.

We’re thinking about heading into the mousetrap studio in June to record a little more. Poore is out of town this summer because he got a killer internship in CA, so we’ll probably lay down some drum tracks before he leaves, and then work on songwriting and play some acoustic shows.
