shhhhh SHERLOCKS DAUGHTER FIND A QUIET SPOT NEAR EAST RIVER [BUZZSESSION]

We finally did it!  Our final session from CMJ 2010.  It might be our last to premier, but it’s definitely one of the prettiest filmed that week.  With the East River and Williamsburg in the distance, Australian-born, Brooklyn-based band, Sherlock’s Daughter whipped out their instruments and gave us a very special performance.

Later that night, we had the pleasure to checking them out at Pianos, which was a highlight of my week.  Their plugged in show is a much different experience in which their energy and stage presence really grab you by the balls and take you for a ride.  They have one upcoming show in New York before the holidays, next Saturday, November 13, at Nutroaster Studios in Brooklyn.  You can purchase your tickets to event, which is the opening night party for the Zero Film Festival, right here.

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie.  With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
