I’ll be the first to admit that we haven’t been updating the site as much as I’d like. There’s a few reasons behind that. First, it’s finals time! A few of us are still in college which means less music writing and more political science, business, and art history writing. Not an ideal world I guess.
Second, I’m currently on a job hunt. I’ve been talking to some very exciting companies and it’s looking like I’ll have some new projects very soon. That doesn’t mean anything for The Wild Honey Pie as I’ve been employed this past year (on and off) and still kept the videos and articles coming strong. It’s just been a hectic past few weeks that left me exhausted and lacking the motivation to post as much as I like to. For that, I apologize.
Lastly, we’ve been doing a lot of filming! I’m the one that edits each and every video we post which means lots of hours spent at my computer Final Cut Pro’ing the shit out of our footage. It’s pretty time consuming stuff, but it’s incredible rewarding (especially when we get lots of comments).

Now, without further adieu, the big announcement. Our studio recordings with Sea of Bees and Memphis are up on our MP3 Freebees page! I’m still editing the videos, but Dan Molad over at Sounds Like a Fire (and now The Wild Honey Pie!) is a step ahead, allowing us to post the free downloads of the MP3s from these sessions.
In case you haven’t figure it out, we have over 150 exclusive tracks over on that page from all of our sessions. Spend a few minutes snagging all your favorites and please, for the love of God, let us know what you think. We’re dying to know!
