Rooney’s Catchy Guitar Pop Had the Crowd Dancing at Music Hall [Photos]

Rooney, our favorite band of 2006, played a sold out show presented by Nylon Magazine at Music Hall of Williamsburg last weekend. They brought their insanely catchy guitar pop sounds, and the crowd danced and sang along the entire night. They made sure to play crowdpleasing favorites like “When Did Your Heart Go Missing” and “Shakin.” They also played songs from their new album, Washed Away, which is no less catchy and takes you right back to high school (or middle school…or college…depending). Frontman Robert Schwartzman made it clear during the show that this was the first of many performances to come, so be ready for more Rooney in the near future.
