We’ve seen a lot of indie bands get the remix treatment as of late.  From the Suckers remix of Local Natives and ARMS, to Passion Pit’s remix of Two Door Cinema Club, it feels like it’s the super hip thing to do.  Not excluded from this conversation is Canadian indie folk rock band, The Acorn who recently stopped by my apartment for a quick two song recording session (we call our sessions BUZZsessions).

Born Ruffians and Four Tet, two very well known bands took The Acorn’s Crossed Wires and Restoration, and made them their own without compromising the greatness of the original tracks.  The tracks above are currently being featured on a limited release 12″.  Check out the remixes above as well as our BUZZsessions below!
