Trying to live up to their fans’ expectations, Ra Ra Riot will drop its sophomore album The Orchard on August 24.
Emerging from a little university known as Syracuse, Ra Ra Riot is an indie-rock band with serious swagger who has managed to become internationally known after just one album. Their second attempt, The Orchard (via Barusk), is set to do the same.
A 10-track compilation produced by the band and Andrew Maury features various big names such as Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie and Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend. Entertainment Weekly is already likening it to an “unforgettable Fire-era U2.”
The international release dates have yet to be confirmed, but to hold fans over until the release of The Orchard, Ra Ra Riot is causing a riot on tour this summer. You can check out their tour dates below.
