I’ve been listneing to a lot of George Gershwin and Joe Meek recently and just getting into JS Bach. It’s the romance and charm and the uncomplicated understanding of music that I miss mostly and is what I try to search for in new music. There has been a lot of music that I haven’t liked recently, a lot of great music that I just can’t connect with. However thank heavens for the new Kelis album and the new Scissor Sister stuff, both quite dreamy as is Kylie’s new track.

Ooh, and also, I literally fell in love with Big Boi’s Shutterbug a while ago, just amazing. I saw The Hurts a while back, they were great live, really impressive I thought. As for us, we have our new singleCall Me out on July 19th with an album to follow on September 6th. We’ll be singing songs to celebrate the release of our single on the 19th of July at The Lexington, come down!

We’re a live band more than anything else and is what we love doing the most, we’ve had what one might call a turbulent few years but when we play gigs it all makes sense again. Phew!
