Still not sure what you’re doing tonight?  Well, I have your solution.  I’ll be heading to Manhattan’s LES (lower east side) to see Nick Principe aka Port St. Willow and Peter Silberman of The Antlers play one of the most anticipated shows of the year (for me at least).

I couldn’t be more excited for this one.  Port St. Willow’s Even // Wasteland, released late last year, is one of the most beautiful EPs I’ve ever heard.  And I’m not just saying that!  It’s gut-wrenchingly tragic; Nick’s expert instrumentation sets the stage for hushed vocals that will break you down emotionally the instant you hear it.

The show starts at 8pm with Jamie Bendell, followed by Port St. Willow (9pm), and finishing with The Soil & The Sun (10pm).  Come say what’s up!
