Pete Yorn played a sold out Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday, October 5th. He and his bandmates were dressed in matching all-white outfits as the set began with songs from Pete Yorn’s newly released self-titled album. From there, the set delved into some of Pete’s classic tunes. The crowd was treated with “Strange Condition” and “Just Another” before a solo performance of “Bandstand”. The mix of tunes ended with more classics. “Life on A Chain” and “For Nancy (‘Cos It Already Is)” concluded the set, before an encore that featured “For Us” and “Wheels”.
After the show concluded, a specially made poster was available downstairs. Following that, the select few that stayed in the downstairs were fortunate enough to meet Pete briefly as he shook hands with fans. The tour will continue to Washington on October 6th and conclude in Austin, TX on October 9th. The next New York area show for Pete Yorn will be early in 2011, though no official dates have been announced.
