I have an epic soft spot in my heart for Pearl and the Beard.  The trio is outrageously talented, and having seen them three times live, I’m convinced they’re one of the best live acts around (though they’ll never get the credit they deserve for it).  I dare you to get though one of their shows without laughing.  Seriously, try!

They’re charismatic on stage, cracking jokes and constantly interacting with the audience.  Once they start singing, you can look around you and feel how content everyone is.  All because Pearl and the Beard has figured out a way to capture all of their unique personalities in their music, which, somehow, is as unique as themselves.  Here’s our photos from their July 9th show at Mercury Lounge.
