The Wild Honey Pie owes everything to Brooklyn band Pearl and the Beard.  It was at their show at the Sycamore in Ditmas Park where I first met Lauren, and became even more passionate about the site.  For that, thank you very much guys!  It’s been a dream of mine to film with my favorite NYC trio since, and a couple of weekends ago, I was finally given a chance to do just that.

At 2PM on Sunday, February 20, we took to Union Square with Jeremy Styles, Emily Hope Price, and Jocelyn Mackenzie where we had the band perform five songs for an audience (pop up show style).  For the next three days, we’ll be posting these videos along with three separate illustrations by Derek Eads, free downloads of the MP3s so stay tuned and enjoy the glorious tunes of Pearl and the Beard.
