The news that Noah Lennox aka Panda Bear is giving away a track from his much anticipated upcoming LP, Tomboy, seems to have already reached all corners of the blogosphere. I’ve always been a far bigger fan of his solo work as opposed to his Animal Collective material, and “Last Night At The Jetty” is no different.
The Maryland natives’s insane ability to compose tracks layered with vibrant 60s pop melodies and engulfing ambient percussion is utterly astonishing. Watch out for Tomboy, which drops on April 12, but for those that can’t wait, there’s a listening party at Le Poisson Rouge on February 16. Enjoy the free download above!
