Wild Thing – Noah and the Whale (Free Download)
Apart from Sufjan Stevens, nothing says winter to me more than Noah and the Whale. It seems fit that Charlie Fink and company release a song on the first week of December. Don’t say I didn’t give you fair warning, this is a different Noah. While we’re treated to the same depressing baritone vocals we’ve come to love, the addition of synth and absence of strings are a bit surprising.
This is a great track nonetheless. It’s also free. Download it above or just use the embedded, super-cool tape below. Noah and the Whale’s third LP, Last Night On Earth, is set to come out in March of 2011.
