Who doesn’t like wine? Seriously! When Nicole Atkins (@nicoleatkins) got in touch with us about filming a buzzsession, we threw a round a few ideas. It’s the middle of winter here in New York City, and days like last Thursday don’t happen often (please tell me you got to enjoy that day if you were in NYC). Taking Nicole out into the cold didn’t sound like a very nice plan, so we decided to get in touch with our favorite local wine bar, In Vino. Nicole met us there as their prep cook was getting ready for the day. After a quick greeting from the owners, Nicole played “Cry Cry Cry” and “Hotel Plaster” off of her recently released album, Mondo Amore, as well as “Monterey Honey”, a Robert Harrison cover. Enjoy the tasty Buzzsessions below!

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
