A new album is heading our way from She & Him (Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward) on March 23. Their first record, Volume One, was very well received, and showcased the talents of Deschanel who was previously only known for her acting (gotta love her in Elf).
I have pretty mixed feelings about these two. While I enjoy her singing and M. Ward’s composition of the album, I find it a bit repetitive. I am looking forward to seeing if their sophomore album gives us more than just 35 minutes of Jenny Lewis sound-alike songs.
