Field Music’s forthcoming album, Measure, has just begun circulating throughout the music industry. I was very fortunate to get myself a copy (it’s being released to the general public on February 16, 2010), and after a quick listen to all of the tracks, I am quite satisfied with the album.

Though I was never passionate about Field Music’s last effort, Tones of Town, this new album seems renewed with an explosive energy and excitement sparsely found in the last album. The first single off the band’s third album is going to be its title track, “Measures”. It’s quite an entertaining number, and has plenty of equally impressive company on the massive double-album. Stay tuned for a full review of this album in the future.
