Is that Russell Brand playing guitar?!  Nope!  It’s just the brutally talented Sam LeGassick thrashing away on his guitar.  Hailing from London, England, The Pistol Gang and The Preacher definitely have the live music thing down pat.  I got to see them after a long day of work over at MTV, and what a shocking surprise it was.  You see, Sam was a co-worker of mine, and I didn’t really know that he was a musician himself.

Not only is he a really cool guy, but he’s got a swagger on stage that is unmatched.  He seriously split his head open on his guitar when I saw him!  Yeah, blood EVERYWHERE.  Gruesome, but thrilling.  Download the free tracks below from The Pistol Gand and The Preacher, who should be coming out with more material shortly.  As you may notice, they could use some refining, but there’s a lot of potential there.  Stay tuned!
