Shuffle Through The Wild Honey Pie

I dare ANYONE to find something cuter, more adorable, more mind numbingly cuddly, or more soft and lovely than what I am about to share with you.  Why this hasn’t come into my life sooner — I have no idea. All I know is that I am obsessed with Lullatone, a popular music duo from Nagoya, Japan who have created quite the stir by composing these beautiful lullaby like songs perfect for children and adults.

They have the the most adorable backstory ever.  Band members and now overwhelmingly cute married couple Shawn James Seymour and Yoshimi Tomida met while both studying at Bellarmine University. Tomida was actually studying abroad, so at the end of university, Seymore went back to Japan with her.   Shawn would compose at night, but to avoid waking Tomida in their super tiny apartment he made sure to make music that sounded like lullabies to help her fall asleep. Thus the name Lullatone. Yah. That soft melting oeey gooey ahh feeling. That’s love.

There latest album Songs That Spin In Circles is comprised of 10 long loopable lullabies for babies and adults, all which you can preview here.  And besides sharing this really  beautiful music with the world through their  albums, they’ve managed to craft a pretty cool career doing original compositions for commercials, teaching music classes with little kids and adults, and also making addictive interactive web applications like this Raindrop Melody Maker.

So if you’ve been having any trouble sleeping lately, I HIGHLY recommend you play some of their music and you might as well throw on Rainy Mood in the background and let yourself drift off into heavenly blissful sleep.
