Band of Horses gave listeners a sneak peek of one of their catchiest songs to date, Compliments, off their third full-length EP that will be released May 18th with Fat Possum Records.  Infinite Arms, complete with 12 tracks that lyrically illustrate various backdrops across America while displaying the group’s ability to be inspired from their surroundings. With warped views of a everything from a flat desert to a winter wonderland, Compliments will capture your attention not only with the great guitar and harmonies but also with the beautiful images.

Kicking off their spring tour on April 8th, Band of Horses (who formed in Seattle) has recently been featured on The Late Show with David Letterman and opened for Iron & Wine. Later in May they will open a series of concerts for Pearl Jam, She & Him, then go on to tour Europe after playing in the Sasquatch Festival.

The New York Times reported they “killed it” at SXSW, and even though critics have been complaining about the new video and how it’s “over-produced,” I personally love their approach to the song. At times the group of five guys ooze a country sound, which is all the better.
