Problems – Murder Mystery Problems – Murder Mystery (Free Download)

This past Tuesday at Brooklyn Bowl, six-piece ensemble, Neighbors, kicked off the free show with their rousing track, “Friends”. The deep, steady verses led by Noah Stitelman paired up nicely with the ethereal background vocals of Steph McParty and Anne Miner. All they really needed was a solid drummer to match the brilliance of their EP, Hooligans.

Murder Mystery rolled up next and kept the wildly fun momentum going. These four have an unstoppable presence, and their indie pop/rock jams possess instant charm and appeal. Killer guitar hooks and lively rhythms make for quite a memorable set of tunes!  Midway through the set, brother and sister duo Laura and Jeremy Coleman did a switch-a-roo between vocals and drums.

The songs had the same great spirit but it was an exciting change-up. Along with some humorous rivalry, the sibling singers both have a ton of personality to spare (not to mention some sweet dance moves)! Jeremy returned to the lead vocal position and hopped off stage to join the audience for a dance party as the band signed off with their song “Change My Mind”.

Murder Mystery’s latest track, “Problems”, premiered yesterday via MOKB, and is available for download above.
