Danish singer and songwriter MØ played a sold out show at Terminal 5 this past weekend with support from Grace Mitchell. Grace Mitchell kicked off the night with a high energy rock-pop performance. The 19 year-old singer/songwriter danced with immense passion and took over the entire stage. She played her larger songs like “NoLo” and “Broken Over You,” fully captivating the entire audience. She has two EPs out thus far, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for this emerging songstress.
MØ then took the stage, backlit by a giant “M,” and began her set with “Don’t Wanna Dance.” The entire venue was packed, and MØ took advantage, singing to the crowd at the barricade, belting her heart out and dancing with endless energy. MØ’s distinct voice backed by heavy beats made for a thoroughly entertaining show. She sang favorites like “Dust Is Gone” and “Kamikaze” and ended the night with an amazing performance of “Lean On.”
