Brooklyn’s art and performance band MEN, started by Le Tigre’s JD Samson and Johanna Fateman in 2007, are embarking on a new fall tour beginning September 1st at the Glass House in Pomona, California. The dance-pop band which now consists of Samson, Michael O’Neill (Princess, Ladybug Transistor) and Ginger Brooks Takahashi (LTTR, The Ballet), have gained throes of fans in the past few months touring with The Gossip and Peaches; this upcoming tour will mark the band’s first headlining dates including a date at the SF Moma.

Fans of MEN can expect the same enthusiastic and effective live show that the band has gained a reputation for. MEN’s live shows have become so popular for their mixture of insanely catchy dance beats and intelligent lyrics about political issues like gay rights, the economy and war; the band even brings props to provide fans with messages like “Who Am I To Feel So Free” and give them the full art collective experience.
