After taking a break from the chaotic year that was 2009, Megafaun is back in the game and set to release a six-song mini-album this September.

This North Carolina trio rode a wave of success back in 2009 with four North American tours and an extended European run in support of their second album Gather, Form and Fly. They also created an American roots music project for Duke University. The trio’s upcoming release of Heretofore is set to chronicle these experiences and others.

On their first two albums, the band brought in the flavor of folk, blues and feedback. On this mini-LP, they plan to take their Americana roots to a whole other level, which includes vocalist Brad Cook trying his hand at country. And the band isn’t stopping there!
