You know what you don’t do enough? Dance. None of us dance enough, and that is a damn shame. Luckily, Matthew Dear is going to fix that for you. Dear is touring extensively behind his latest year-end list making record Black City, which Pitchfork describes eloquently as some, “real threatening, grimy shit.” Sounds awesome right?

Dear is touring currently with a live band, the addition of which promises to create an even more interesting and highly danceable show. We New Yorkers can see Dear open up with The Tom Tom Club (the band that is made of members of The Talking Heads) on January 16th at Irving Plaza or the next night for a DJ Set at Thor @ The Rivington Hotel. The rest of the tour, some of which is with Interpol, is attached below. So hurry up and go dancing!
