We here at The Wild Honey Pie are pretty huge enthusiasts of LA band Lord Huron (@lordhuron). This week, the group’s frontman, Ben Schneider, has delivered yet again with the release of his music video for “Time To Run”, off of the band’s upcoming LP, Lonesome Dreams. Seamlessly adhering to the style of a classic Technicolor Western, the video captures breathtaking Mojave Desert scenery while telling the story of a man’s desperate quest for love. This tragic tale is said to be true to the narrative told by fictional author, George Ranger Johnson (for whom band has created a website cataloguing his numerous works). Fans and newcomers alike will agree that Lord Huron’s latest undertaking, with its nostalgic, cinematic feel, is undoubtedly a stand-out that raises the bar for contemporary music video production.
