Each Monday (or at least every Monday day we can), we’ll be posting three artists that are giving away free music.  These aren’t just any three artists though.  These are three fantastic artists with a similar

vibe so if you like one, you’re most likely going to like them all!

Leah Lou and The Two Left Shoes, in addition to being brilliant, has a kick drum made from a garbage can – clearly a winning combination. With a sultry voice worthy of Norah Jones comparisons and songwriting as inspired as it is unique and quirky, she’s an artist not to be missed. She’s currently gaining momentum in the folk world with her debut EP, This Music Belongs To You, released in January. The EP is ever-changing, lush, and just damn likeable. Hop on her train.

This band is virtually impossible not to like. With only a four song EP to their name, the Washington DC group is reviving 60s songwriting sensibilities with panache. Touting an indie-pop vibe and folk instrumentation, Nighttime Adventure Society have crafted an addicting, unique sound. Songwriter and frontwoman Laura Zax actually reminds me a lot of a female John Lennon. I’m not kidding. Listen to “She’s In Mind” or “Lover Etc.” and try not to be blown away. I dare you.

This San Francisco singer/songwriter is about to take over the West Coast music scene. Having just released her debut eponymous LP, Neigher displays a sound that is lush and emotionally powerful. Perhaps best described as indie lounge pop, she is a brilliant songwriter who writes with a true and vulnerable honesty. Not to mention, she had the Magik Magik Orchestra play on the album, who also do work for Death Cab for Cutie, and brought in John Vanderslice (Spoon) to produce and record the whole thing on analog tapes at Tiny Telephone Studios. Give me a break. Too. Good.
