Happy New Year, folks! For January’s mixtape theme, I chose motion. Even though the new year is an arbitrary date and resolutions are hard to stick to and America is a hungover mess today and yadda yadda yadda, I still get really amped about the fresh start, and I’m sure I’m not alone. This playlist is meant to get your blood pumping and infuse your brain with happy vibes. Think of it as waking up on the right side of the bed, like, 31 times in a row.

Of special note, “Rooftop”, which appears in this month’s mixtape, is taken from the Lady Lamb the Beekeeper debut studio release Ripely Pine, due out February 19th.

February’s theme will be “Ardor.” If you have any song suggestions, we’d love to hear ‘em! Please leave them in the comments section below. We will randomly choose one commenter to receive a physical copy of this mixtape as well as a small Wild Honey Pie treat!
