About

I used to listen to Hellogoodbye all the time.  I bought Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! in 2006 and listened to it quite a bit.  It’s a good album, yet my taste in music has since changed and it got lost somewhere in the shuffle.  Then, this November, Would It Kill You? was released, and with it came my newfound admiration for the band.  Would It Kill You? represents a greatly matured Hellogoodbye.  This new band not only appeals to the MTV audience, but the pop-inclined indie scenester as well.  Any skepticism I may have had for this band quickly dissipated as my expectations of auto-tune dance tunes were replaced by realizations of uplifting indie pop akin to fun.

Watch Hellogoodbye perform “Finding Something To Do”, “Would It Kill You?”, and “Getting Old” below.

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie.  With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City (these are some of the only sessions we’ve done in Los Angeles) and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
