The music industry is without question one of the most exciting fields to work in today. As a DJ and electronic music producer living in Colorado I am able to support myself by playing shows and I get some amazing experiences out of the deal too. Like last night I played a show with Effektor at Cervantes that was packed with tons of eager, sweaty kids looking to shake their booties. My show is all about making people dance and loose themselves in the moment, and last night was a perfect execution of this mantra. Seeing as blogs are the new radio, I am excited to team up with the WILD honey pie to start posting about my experiences, thoughts, and of course – new music for your listening pleasure!

Recently I have been spinning a lot of Dubstep in my sets – I’m not sure why those dissonant melodies and glitched-out vocals have such an appeal to my seasoned ears, but maybe its because these sounds are like nothing I have heard before. The “wobble” bass and dark undertones are the epitome of late night for me and I have been getting a great response from the crowds lately so I thought I would share some dubstep with you. 2010 is going to be a great year for the music industry and I’m lucky to be a part of it!
